He can fetch, he can catch, he loves walks in the woods! Max wants to be your post-COVID buddy! Max just turned a year old, and is a lab/shepherd mix.    He is looking for an active family in which he gets plenty of exercise every day. He rides well in the car and is beautifully housetrained. Indoors, he likes chew toys, puzzle toys, and obedience training. He will probably do best with a fenced backyard. Max uses a crate when he is home alone for extended periods, but is accustomed to sleeping with his human at night.    Max is food-motivated and easy to train. He already knows commands like sit, down, and stay.    Because he is a big, very playful boy (around 60 lbs), we recommend working with a professional trainer so that Max can be his best self. Max is neutered and current on all vaccines, and is on heartworm preventative.
